Good evening Jan
A short comment before I get to the purpose of my reply.
Class action suits were not done in Canada..whether by law or Law Society rules, lawyers could'nt act on "a share of the award" basis and thus it was necessary to form the Corp.Secondly I do not agree that the WHOLE case was bogus,,,there were valid reasons to procede and because some "shady" deals took place does not take away from the ernest desire of some of our forefathers to get that which had been stolen from the heirs.
NOW my reason for writing,I have in "safe-keeping" my mothers copies of the genealogical records of "our" line. These include notarized docs attesting to the accuracy of dates of events etc and a list of ancesters from my Mother to Urbain. If it is any help I could check these for "names" or other clues.Incidentally,as part of my own research I rechecked these records with all the recognized sources and did not find any errors.
