Ignace Tessier dit Lavigne/dit d'Avignon

Ignace rules! So glad someone is finally curious about this quiet little corner of the family:-) Of note is that Ignace actually used two "dit" names, Lavigne and d'Avignon.

PRDH is probably the most comprehensive source on the Tessier line. They have documented the births, marriages and deaths of all of Ignace and Marguerite's kids. None of the daughters married another Tessier, but there was one marriage to a Laplante.

Marie-Marguerite-Thérèse (b 1705) married François-Dominique Lefèvre

Madeleine-Thérèse (b 1709) married Gilles Badaillac-dit-Laplante (this may be the Laplante you're referenced) in 1731 at Repetigny.

Marie-Marguerite (b 1712) married Pierre Maupas-dit-St-Hilaire

Marie-Madeleine (b 1714) married Pierre Harel

Marie-Charlotte (b 1719) married Jean-Baptiste Monet-dit-Boismenu

Marie-Josephte (b 1727) died at two weeks of age.

I also checked through the descendents of their son, Ignace (2). None of his daughters married either a Tessier or a Laplante.

Hope this helps. Good luck and happy hunting.
