Hi Fred, I certainly hope you can help me and that we are searching for the same Tessiers. My ggggrandfather Frank Tacey/Tacia was born in St. Lawrence in 1814. I imagine his name was originally Francois Tessier. I have been told this was so. He married 1. Lucie Vasseur they had five children, Lucie died 1836. Later he married a Mary Foey and they had eight children - names unknown. I have the names of the five children with Ms. Vasseur. I have been searching for some time now and always reach a dead end at Frank.
