Texier/Is this another spelling?

Hi Everyone, I have been going through a microfilm for the church that served the area of Northern New York and Quebec. It would seem to have been a mission type church. In that film I found two entries, both for girls who had the last name of Texier. Is this a form of Tessier or some other group completely? The entries were for marriages and it would seem they might have been sisters. If anyone is interested give me a "holler" and I will forward the number of the film and the names of the girls. No parent's names were indicated. These marriages occured around 1820.
