Fred, at this point I am so elated to find the connection that I haven't gotten beyond that. The gal who has the genealogy is going to send me copies of what she has. At that point I may know more. However, I do not think that that portion is documented. We are leaving tomorrow on vacation and will be back at the end of the month. At which time I will hopefully have the copies and may be able to shed more light on the subject. I do know that my gggrandfather lived most of his adult life in Buffalo, New York and North Tonawanda, New York. THe census lists his place of birth as at sea. His parents were from French Canada. I believe the at sea to be on one of the Great Lakes or perhaps the St. Lawrence River. I will keep you posted when I find out anything definite. Sara
