Hi, Jerry,

My grandfather's name was originally David Lee Tessier. He originated in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He moved to Saginaw, Michigan in the early 1900's. His father's name was Alexander Tessier. We have rumors of a Cathedral that the family built in our history, too. Rumor also says that our arm of the family was excommunicated from the Catholic Church because of a falling out. That is why they changed their surname, to be able to rejoin under a different name. If you have any information, please contact me. I've already been contacted by Pat Baribeau, who also thinks there may be a connection.
