I am very intrigued by your e-mail posting. I too am a descendant of the elusive Leon Tessier & Catherine Robidoux. I would be very interested in your proof. Like you, I was always under the impression that Leon was a descendant of Urbain.

My line reads as follows:

Leon Tessier married Catherine Robidoux, circa 1830

His son, Alexandre Tessier (c.1828) married Judith Saumier(Saulniere) dit Lajeunesse September 25, 1854 in St. Anicet, Quebec

His son, Napoleon Tessier (b.August 25, 1855 - St Anicet, Quebec /d. 1918 - Cornwall, Ontario) married Josephine Bonneville (born c. 1857)May 03, 1876 in St. Anicet, Quebec.

His son (my grandfather), Romeo Tessier (b.April 25, 1898 -Cornwall, Ont. /d. February 02, 1977 - Cornwall, Ont.)married Mabel Provost July 02, 1923 in Cornwall, Ontario.

His son (my father), Randolph Tessier married my mother, Eileen Baker. He currently resides in Cornwall, Ontario.

I would be glad to share any other info I might have with you.

Looking forward to your reply,

Marc Tessier
