Jan, Could be true about the Grossman connection. But I have found this name to have originated in Germany. There seems to have been a group of them in PA at one time. I have yet to find a source that pinpoints her origins. Thanks for responding to my post. Interestingly my great great grandfather's youngest daughter uses the name Tasey on her application for marriage license and someone entered Tasey on her mother's death certificate info. So somehow somewhere there is a link... Where is the question. Thanks again and Happy holidays. Sara
