Hmmmm...some interesting parallels with your family and mine. Mine also lived in Peterborough briefly. They weren't from L'Ancienne Lorette, but that town is half way between their home and Peterborough, so there may still be something interesting there.

I'm not sure what the last link you gave points towards, but it is interesting info.

Have you been able to get any parish records from Quebec or Ontario? They would actually tell who the parents of each person are and once you can get back to 1799, PRDH can be used to finish the tree.
