Hi George,
First my condolences on the loss of your mother.
Since I posted the original query, I talked to Tony, e-mailed Nata and she sent me a complete descendant family tree with dates and names, a formidable feat.
She left off a few maiden names that she did not know, and the birthplaces of a lot of people (which are probably mostly St Paul but I don't like to presume anything)But I am very grateful for her work.I was going to have to contact each of the 14 of you to get your individual families to combine together.
Also, since then, I have traced my lines and some LaManna ancestor lines back to the 1700's in Triggiano.(The LaManna paternal line goes back to Noicattaro and their church records are rather incomplete I understand) As a result, you and I are 8th, 9th and 10th cousins on various lines.
I should point out that I am a second cousin of Carlo, Pete, Nick, Marianne and Annamae (Jimmy and Connie's family) through Connie.(She was my grandfather's sister)They first told me about their cousin Marian and her 14 children.I also heard more from Nick and Estelle Raimondi who are also my distant cousins and who are also doing genealogy. So I heard of the Casland/Tessmer family from them and subsequently discovered the distant cousin relationship.
If you would like, I would like to send you a cut-and-paste descendant chart to your e-mail address.(If I post it here, all your birthdates will be on the message board...probably not a good idea).I'll see if your e-mail is on the message board and I'll send you what I have.If you could review it and correct what you know (mostly your immediate family) it would be most appreciated by me.I believe I need your son's birthplace, COnnie's birthplace and your wedding date and place.I have to check.
Anyway, thanks for replying to the message here.I'll follow up with an e-mail.
