“Honore-Louis Tesson” activities

Looking for some data in order to connect the American Tesson family, to my personal Family Tree, I would be interested by anybody knowing which activity/job the emigrant Honore-Louis Tesson (1690 – 1754; emigrated on Apr. 9th, 1720) had in Quebec.
What I have found by analyzing the Dainard family tree, is that : Honore-Louis was in 1733 in Longueil, from 1734 and 1735 in Neuville, in 1737 in Trois-Rivieres, from 1738 to 1742 in Cap Saintes, then from 1743 in Montreal.
What kind of profession had Honore-Louis to move so much like that ?
