According to the information that I got from World Family Tree, Honore-Louis Tesson was a miller in Boucherville and Quebec City. My interpretaion of the name change was that maybe since the French lost their battle to keep New France from the English that they may have changed the name to a more English name to fit in. Also from the informatiom from World Family Tree, the only children of Joseph and Marie-Angelique Raymond that went to Prince Edward County were Marie Louise, Euphraisie Irean and Pierre. Both Euphraisie and Pierre were married in Prince Edward County, her in 1796 and Pierre about 1800. I have no record of where Marie Louise was married to Joseph Demore. Hope this helps. Feel free to email me at anytime.
