Pendleton Co, WV Martha Grayham/Graham/Lantz/Rexrode/Rexroad

I’ll ask my question first, and if you want to know what I am after, you can read the long explanation.
In the 1880 census of Mill Run, Pendleton Co, WV, The LDS census database has MARTHA REXROAD in the GEORGE AND MARY TETER household. However, my cousin has looked at the scanned images and says that she isn’t there.
Whether or not she is, can anyone see a reason that she might have been? It seems that she may have had a daughter named Mary Graham, but we haven’t found more on this Mary than that she was mentioned in a will.

This ancestor had led us on a merry chase! I apologise for the length of this message, but it seems that without the background, my reason for posting here won’t make sense.
Our first search was for BENJAMIN S. DUGGER, born on Feb 25, 1834 in Tennessee, according to the family bible. His wife’s name was Rachel S. (no last name).
Eventually, thanks to a lot of long (and interesting to me, but not to you) creative searches, we discovered that Rachel was in the 1850 census, living with JOSEPH LANTZ SR. (age 60, actually the Joseph Lantz Jr household, another long story). They three women in the household were listed were MARTHA GRAYHAM (35) RACHAEL GRAYHAM (6) and HANNAH (4).
Apparently, Joseph died shortly after the census was taken, and his will claims the two girls as his daughters and also mentions two other girls, MARY and MARTHA GRAHAM, and promises them 100 dollars when they turn 21. Since Joseph’s wife Phoebe had died within the last 10 years, we believe we have found the fellow that family legend says had two families at one time! However, we don’t think he ever married Martha, and the ever-industrious Martha marries a HEZEKIAH REXROAD/REXRODE (age 31) in October of 1850.
In the 1860 census, Hez and Martha have two girls, Julia (9) and Isabella (1). Also living in the household are RACHEL LANTZ (16) & HANNAH LANTZ (14). These are the same girls as the Grayham/Graham girls, of course. Name changes seem to be common in this family. In 1870, Rachel is married to my gggfather Benjamin, and Hannah lives with them.

Now to 1880 according to the LDS records: Hez Rexroad is living with daughter Belle and has other children as young as one year old, but Martha is not in the house. Since she is approximately 60-65 (depending on which census one reads), I wonder if he remarried, but it is hard to tell.
I browsed through the “Previous household” choices, and found a Martha Rexroad living with the GEORGE & MARY TETER family. “Hmmm. We never have found any more information on her daughter Mary. I wonder…Nah. You can’t swing a dead cat in Pendleton without hitting a Mary. But still…”
In the next household is the Benjamin Dugger family. Surprise!
I thought I had hit the jackpot. However, one of my cousins had an Ancestry.com subscription, and looked at the original census form. It seems that the original census does not put Martha in the Teter household!
Thanks for any help you can give.
sincerely,
Kathleen Allen Dugger Tromp
