If you do not have the earlier history of the Teter family in Illinois, please contact me direct at ectocus@rcn.com. The Teters (I have the names of twenty-two although perhaps there were more) arrived in Illinois during the summer of 1797 with a large group migration led by Reverend David Badgley from Hardy CO VA (since 1863 a part of WV).
