Thanks S.Wood for the heads up on the 1880 Henry Co. information. I appreciate it. There seems to be some definate possiabilities there. This Joseph A. may be My grandfathers Dad. My Grandfather was born in 1886 however and his Dad died in 1893. The names may be some connection. Is definately worth pursuing though. As I mentioned earlier, I have precious few details on this family especially dates, with an equal lack of full names. This is basically all the information I have.

My Grandfather.......

Charles Albert Teter b. 12. Feb. 1886 in ? Father...Joseph d. 1893 in ?. Charles was sent to the Iowa Children's Home by his step-mother. Never a mention of who his mother was. This Cora's photo was kept in his most precious things. My Grandmother said she thought he told her one time Cora was a part of his family but she couldn't remember much about it. That is the extent of information I have for, a definate blind spot in my family tree.
Thanks again for the bit of information.
Char
