This record was found in the Overton Co., Tenn. deed books:
Deeds C, Page 219

George Teeter and Ester Teeter, his wife, late Ester Totten and former widow of Benjamin Totten, decd, George Hohemer and Easter Hohimer, late Ester Totten, James Totten, Joseph H. Totten, Parris Teeter and Richard Teeter, his wife, late Rebeccah Totten, children and legatees of Benjamin Totten, decd, appoint Benj. Totten our attorney, etc. Rebecca was the wife of Parris Teeter and Ester was the wife of George Teeter. 19 July 1813. Proved in Garrard County, Kentucky.
THIS SUMS IT UP. George Teater had another son named Richard mentioned alongside Parris, put it Together it comes out Richard Parris. A strong suggestion they had twin boys named after Sarahs father. George Teater didnt mention RIichard in his will ,it means Richard died before the will.

Will of Joseph Toops; no probate; brother John, all my estate; executor: George Smith, Charles Hunter; Witnesses: James Macay, Zubulan Stout. Debts owed by or to said Toops: John Finly, Benjamin Rowgerson, Thomas Evans, James Gill, Swearington, Richard Parris, James Dylon, Marmaduke Chaimbrell [Kimbrough], John Hamby, James Deason, Daniel Garrot, Edward King, Vallentine, William Adam, Wm Ridge, Scoton Davis, William Harrison, John Parker, Capt. Bryuan, John Morris.
Here is a old 1754 Rowan co. will that shows no 1 Richard Pearis was also known as Parris ,and that he was at a point in Rowan co.NC. 2nd again is Thomas Evans who was the father inlaw of old Samuel Teeder Teterton and His newphew here was the commander of the Rowan militia which old George Teeder formerly of Beaufort. Daniel Boone john Vancleave same miltia were to future inlaws of George Teater of Kentucky.
The contraversy is which brother did Sarah pearis come thru Robert Richard or George? Georges son George Pearis was mentioned in the will of George Pearis the Elder. but he did not mention that George as having daughter Sarah who would have to of been at least 10 yrs older to be the mother of Samuel Teater 1st born of George Teater and Sarah. George pearis 2nd wife of rutherford was indian and her children would of been way to young to be the wife of George Teater although Rhoda Parris ,the mother of George Hohimer , Parris Teaters brother inlaw, could have been George pearis daughter from indiam wife by the timeline.
That leaves Robert who also had daughter Sarah but she was still teenager in 1781 way to young to be George Teaters wife. Richard had a daughter Sarah mentioned in several documents in the 1750s as daughter of his wife Rhoda.
George Teater was a military officer succesfull negro slave plantation owner therefore he wasnt stupid .so he wouldnt of named his sons Richard and Parris after Richard Parris if his wife wasnt Richards daughter.
