I sure do appreciate this info you are sending! Very helpful.
In regards to George Wm Teater you mention that he went to KY. Upon reading several posts I found there was a John George Teter b. March 1739 (s/o George Teter of Opoquon River in Orange Co VA) who went to KY as well. These are not the same people are they? One named George Wm the other John George.
The John Teaters who received a treasury Warrent for 150 acres in 1780-1796, was this in Washington Co., MD. And is he the John you think may be the father of Jacob Sr.
And do you think that this Jacob Sr is the Jacob listed on both 1790 & 1800 Washington Co., MD Census. And since he is a "Sr" in 1803, he must have a son Jacob "Jr" of age.
The Jacob Teter I am researching was born 1780/83 MD with first child, Isham b. abt 1803. This Jacob would have been abt 20/21 of legal age to be on his own with family, thus a possible "JR" in 1803. But Jacob is apparently gone from MD into VA where his son, Isham is born in 1803/04.
Also I am wondering if Martin is a s/o Jacob Sr? If Martin first appears in 1803 he was likely born abt/bef 1782.
Jacob of 1790 has 2 sons b. 1774-1790.
In 1800 he had one son b 1780-84. The other son is gone from HH.
I am wondering if this is Martin still at home in 1800 & Jacob "Jr" is already gone?
In the 12 Oct 1803 Deed is the name Jacob "PETERS" or "TETERS" of Washington Co...1352 acres...witnesses Jacob Teeters, Martin Teeters.
Do you happen to have any birth dates on any of these Teters you mention...John Teaters, Jacob Teters Sr, George Wm Teater, Martin Teaters?
I realize I am asking many questions, and again I do appreciate the the info you are able to provide.
