Johnny Jan Lala. Why dont you stop. I read the book my father has . John George Teter was a German, they came on the ship Allen from Germany. Rhoda was a indian you have the wrong Teters.
Danny Endicott

Thankyou Danny. my e mail is here for anyone to respond but its better to respond here on the forum as which artilce you disagree with. This only a hobby for me so anyone can disagree or just dont read it. Your last name indictes you are from my clan Robert Lee F Teaters son of William Teater and Susan Ann May Madison Kentucky.

Let me show something.
His father was George and Sarah? Teeter. George was born about 1736 and died in Garrard County, KY in 1815. His first wife Sarah? died in Madison Co., KY in 1794. I discovered their tombstones about thirty years ago. They were nearly underground when I found them.

Will you share with me dates and places of birth, death, marriage, burials of your family? I will be happy to share any info that I have as well.

Also, our George Teeter is NOT the son of John George Dieter of the Opequon that we published in our book back in the 70's. Therefore, to be perfectly honest, we can only claim back to George Teeter who immigrated into Kentucky in 1779 from Virginia.
Danny this a e mail to me from one the researchers and writers of your book, so in that case I do have the right Teters and you have the wrong Teters ABOVE 1735
The book is a well done book and it took a monumentel effort to do it at that time before the internet . There is no way in those days for anyone to have found what we can today without spending millions of dollars and manhours.
Part was taken from Prof, Kelloges Teaters of Kentucky which combined 4 different peple into one person.
The book details the lines of Parris Teater and William Teater and others from the 1st gneration to the early 1900s late 1800s of George Teater his 1st wife sarah and 2nd wife Ester..

New research shows that by George Teaters son Lewis Craig Teater his fathers name was george william teater
Shows that George William Teater and Samuel Gibson Teater were brothers from Tyrrell North Carolina.
It was very common for families to name a son ith the mothers maiden name middle name or 1st name in this case its Gibson which is not German its mostly Welsh and Scotch Irish.
Elizabeth Gibson was half Tuscarora a Christian Indian she married William Tator or Teterton he had brothers and cousins named John Samuel James Jacob George and Thomas which fit to a tee the Teaters of Kentucky. the early Teters used ton
Why becuse a surgical leach between the 1650s to 1720s was called a Tetter, those lines dropped the ton by the 1730s some did not they went by Teter Teeder Tedder Tuder Tettor tetter and several variations.
I doubt rhoda was Indian she may have part Indian and was most likley from the John Parish family. John Paris John Pearis ect.
Both George Teater and Samuel Gibson Teater were military officers in English pre american Guerilla units. they were not uniformed troops in the standing Continetal Army, they would have have worn some type in french indian war but most were militia without uniforms. All thier inlaws Teaters of Kentucky are from Wilkes Surry North Carolina and other North Carolina areas 90 % are Scotch Irish and English. No direct German families in either George or Samuel. George was a Scotch Presbyterian Samuel a Methodist both of them were NOT Dunkers or Lutherans. George was Prolithic Negro slaver as were his sons and most of his Inlaws. Samuel was not due to his inlaws being frontier Preachers which discouraged slavery.

All evidence by tmleline religion inlaws and naming patterens shows that George Teater of Kentucky and Samuel Gibson Teater were sons of William Tator and eEizabeth Gibson and possible they had a sister named Elizabeth titer who married Thomas Runnolds or Renolds.
Its highly doubtfull George Washington would promote a young German Dunker boy to command a company of battle harded English new world frontiersmen and Scotch Irish.
before the French Indian war all three groups lived mostly segregated but not always.

The article about Clayburn Teater is just a waste of time to use as any factual refference to the Teaters of Kentucky.
on the contrary in Paris Teaters own words to the KY census takers he told them he was born in Virginia. his wife also told the census takers she was born in Tenn so did her brother Joseph Totton NOT New York. Paul Teter was member of the Teter Hinkle s in Pendelton county and was younger than both George Teater and Samuel Teater no way was he thier father.

if you are from isabinda goins and william mcmullin and a teater then you are a saponi indian also called melungeons in tenn

If you are from the John Collins and teater you would be Saponi indian also called Melungeons in Tenn
if you are from Sally Goins and Sanders and Teater you would be a Saponi Indian also called a Melungeons in Tenn

Those Indian bloodlines are solid
Its up in the air if Sarah pearis was a White daughter of richard pearis or was she the catawaba girl that lived and was batized and christianized. my guess was george s wife was the White Sarah.
So maybe do a little reading then get back to me in a few years Are you one of Dons kids?
