Jan,
If George Teter is not the Jorge Dieter, the immigrant of 1729 on the ship Allen"
then do you know what became of this Jorg Dieter the mmigrant?

Also there was a George Teter &/or Johann George Dieter (one-in-the-same person or 2 different people?) who signed pettions for protection from indians in 1728 PA with Anthony Jacob HENKEL & Jost HITE.

Could this George Teter be the George who settled in Hebron community of Orange
Co., VA with the HENKLE families & could Johann George Dieter be the John George Dieter/Teter who settled on the Opequon River in Orange Co., VA with Jost Hite?

In 1738 Orange/Augusta Co., VA a Jeorg Dieter & John HITE and others petitioned a road from Jost HYTES.
