Hi Harold not off hand. The names Samuel Teter fits in as naming pattern of both the kentucky and ohio Teaters.
do you know exactly were your Samuel was born ?

Yes traditional trees before the arrival of the internet are being renewed correctly.

As you may have read on this this there are 3 groups of Teters.
Deiter Detter Duter ect German and Swiss. There were 1st Teter from England and Scotland Titer Teiter Tedder Teterton Teder 1600s Virginia and Maryland North Carolina.
the there were the French Hugeunots Jeeter Jeter who respelled there names Teator Tetor Teter Teater. In all three groups names George John George Samuel Jacob were same and sometimes all three groups lived at the same time and near eachother.

If you have place of birth for Samuel it might help. There was a early John Teater out that way. ill see if someting can be matched get back to you.
