That's an interesting possibility. John Alston (1673-1755) - father of Joseph John Alston - who settled in the same area as Col John Worley may have came from Barbados. He may have been sent there in 1686 for his role in Monmouth's Rebellion. His name is listed among the passengers of the “Happy Return”. The rebels were pardoned in 1690. Perhaps John Alston and (then) Capt John Worley migrated from Barbados together. Notify Administrator about this message?
