Hello you might want to scroll down this forum, I have posted a lot of new true and revelant facts of Samuel and George, Instead of the old misleading and wrongfull postings and shoddy research of the past.
At best you can pick up both Samuel and George in the French Indian war as Teater, you will find Samuel again in Rowan co nc 1766 as Capt Teeter, then Bedford with a near uncle from NC. The Worleys who were also married into the Doddridge family as was Samuel
Best is the scenario they were both the sons of either William Teterton or Samuel Teterton who spelled thier names Tettor Tedor Teder Teterton, there were 2 more elder sons names James Tetor Jacob Teder Teeder Teater ect, These Teters were not Germans they were from the Scotts and Ulster Scotts ect that came over in the 1600 s most settled in Perquimans NC. Glocester Virginia, Thomas, Andrew William Teddder Teeder Tetetrton ect 1635 to 1650
I wouldnt pay any atention to the nonsense of mythical Dieters Dunkers and all that ,it was other people that had nothing to do with either George Teater or Samuel Teater there more than enough facts to show they were not Germans or Dunkers or 1st generation people in America. please look down the page here and find the historical facts
