Hi i think so. so often Teter Teater Teeter researchers seem to combine the 2 of them by joing them as [John George Teter] Teater ect. They were actually 2 seperate people although I dont think John Teeter was German more like Swiss since hes associated with the Funkhuasers. Dont hold me to it Today ,but the Fleenors Funkhousers and John Teeter notes indicate they were Swiss and the French speaking region.. The George Teater sr of Kentucky lived miles away from where John Teeter lived in Washington county. George Teater Sr lived at the Bakers tract alongside the Gibsons at the middle fork of the Hoston river area. George Teater sr removed to kentucky with his eldest son samuel 1779 . In any case George Teater Sr was one person and John Teeter was one person . There is always confusion by people mixing them up as the same person.
