Teater Paris 80 Virginia pg00768.txt
pg00648.txt
1 Teater Rebecca 74 Tennessee pg00768.txt

ABOVE THE 1860 GRRARD CENSUS..
IN 1860 Paris Teater in his words told the census takers he was born in Virginia. That confirms Samuel his older brothers statement. again then appears that that George Teater Appointed Benjamin Totton a caretaker of his lands and family back in Washington co Virginia.
Rebecca told the census takers she was born in Tenn. That fits exactly the tax lists that show Benjamin Totton living alongside George Brock on Nolichuckey in that period..

Again 1786 madison show George Teater living with 4 male negro slaves horses and cattle yet no Tithes of any family. nearby were Aaron Lewis and George Teater s inlaws Squire Boone and Abigail Van Cleave with a son John Vancleave.
