Hi Ace

I'd be happy to enter into a detailed conversation on George Teater with you and other interested parties. However, we probably need to do that in one place, not spread out over this site, the WeRelate George Teater article, your user page, and my user page. I vote for this location.

Also, from your notes you have clear ideas about what's right and not right about a number of different George Teater's issues. That's not at all unreasonable, since different people often have different views of things, and you can usually find different opions about just about every ancestor. However, its difficult to talk about every issue simultaneously, So lets confine ourselves to one issue at a time.

You believe that George Teater died in 1835 based on a gravestone reading. You quote his gravestone as reading

Ye G. T. 79 YRS OLD 1815

Tell me about this reading.
Is this something you recorded?
Did you transcribe this yourself?
Where was the gravestone?
When was the transcription made?
Has it been documented elsewhere?

Thanks

Bill
