Hi, again, Ace,

Forgot to mention, since you are descended from David "King David" BENGE, son of Susannah LEWIS and husband, Thomas BENGE, then you and my husband and sons are distant cousins through both the BENGE and LEWIS lineage. Making you and my husband twice first cousins several times removed as your Thomas BENGE was the brother of his John "Trader" BENGE and Elizabeth LEWIS and Susanna LEWIS being sisters.

In addition, in my husband's lineage there is another BENGE - LEWIS marriage that he descends from a generation or two later so there is probably another branch for him from the LEWIS.

I descend from two different lines or branches of LEWIS, also, one from my paternal 3rd great grandfather, Howell LEWIS, that was in Granville County, North Carolina in the late 1700's at the same time as 3 other men named Howell LEWIS from the WARNER-LEWIS lineage but he is not from that group. He married Rachael TUCKER.

Then I have LEWIS lineage from Lewis LAMKIN and Mary LEWIS from Lewis ap Lewis/aka Lewis LEWIS of late 1600's Northumberland that I believe is from another early branch of both the lineage that the WARNER-LEWIS group is from as well as the David LEWIS group that your LEWIS family is from but still working on that one.
