This is as far as I got to only a excerpt from
Friends of Ours An Eclectic Blog: From Crime & Corruption To Politics & Culture. There were lots of Teters that used about 90 spelling variants in New York as far back as the 1600s most were Low Dutchman One came from Portugaul some came in 1710 with the Palantines but they spoke Dutch and the Walloon style French.
