Colorfull. We had some ourselves the Kentucky Teeters and kin but they didnt get paid. Family honor revenge. Some writers called it the Evans Hill fued. Started after the War of 1812 the bad blood Ended after the Cival War. One of the biggest shootouts started one night at William Teeters Tavern in Teetersvile blew up at Tobacco Barn left about 12 dead and bunch wounded. One of my great uncles Bad Moses Ray finished it off with another man named Nave. Shoot ole Dr Evans until there six shoters were empty. Some spilled over to other Kinfolk in Clay county until they called in the Army about 1928 left about 300 widows in all heard tell.
