I am JoAnne Alcorn, great granddaughter of Gus and Olinda Tetzlaff, Gus having a brother Carl, b 1870 in Kleinton. My family's Carl, Fred, Gus and the other brothers immigrated to Lake Crystal, MN in the 1880's. There are so many similarities in names and places in your message that there is bound to be a family connection somewhere between your Carl and our Carl.
The Carl Tetzloff in my line was b Dec 11, 1870, Kleinton, Prussia. I have seen the ship's manifest for this Carl who immigrated with his parents August and Louisa, his brother August and older brother Fred and family on the ship Rhaetia April 3 1883 but his obiutary says he immigrated in 1881. Carl's first born was baptised at the Willow Creek Lutheran Church in Vernon Center, MN as were the first born of several brothers. His obituary is from Otter Tail, County. It mentions my grandfather, the last and surviving brother who was living in Cass County, ND at the time.
