In the Boston Gazette, Monday, March 20, to Monday, March 27, 1732, an article concerning an extract and translation of a letter from some Palatines who took passage at Rotterdam in Jun 1731 for Philadelphia, but have been set on shore on Martha's Vineyard, etc. This letter was signed by one Jacob DIEFFEBACH. This surname later becomes TEVEBAUGH/TEVERBAUGH on some lines.
Am trying to find the result of the law suit brought against Capt. LHAB. Anyone knowing of the action, please contact me. Many thanks in advance. Pat
