While researching the Larrabee (Lareby) family in Michigan, I came across a Mary J.Tewksbury buried in Wayne County Michigan. She had married a Peter Larrabee. This was Peter's second marriage and may have been her second marriage as well. The dates recorded for Mary on her tombstone are 1823-1887. In the 1870 Michigan census online Mary is recorded as being born in New York.
