Your name sounds familiar to me. My name is Michael Thamm and my dad was Tom B. Thamm. Seems I saw your name in one of his family history files. Anyway before he died in 2002 he buried himself in a family history project. He had a copy of Emil Andreas Thamm's immigration papers that originated in Wormditt.
One of my brothers inherited the volumes of material my dad dug up. Did you ever talk to my dad? If you did I'm sure he was helpful as he gladly shared his information with anyone who was interested.
Let me know if I can help.
