Photo of Louisa K. Theiss

I came across a framed photo of an elderly woman at a yardsale a few years ago. I really just wanted the frame, but when I paid closer attention I discovered the following caption: "Taken October 2nd, 1921 on the one hundred and seventh anniversary of my birth." It is signed "Louisa K. Theiss. The woman is sitting in an old wicker rocker. She is knitting or crocheting. She may also be wearing a nurses cap, or some other type of headwear. I couldn't bare to remove the photo from the frame, and have proudly displayed it in my home. I figure that someone should be honoring this woman! I would love to find her family, and present the photo to someone that knows her history. If you know anything about this woman please post a message or email me at:
