My name is Patricia Corcoran and I am the gggrand daughter of Martha Elizabeth Yesberg. In researaching my family's history I came across a bio written my someone in my grandmothers family. It says that Martha Elizabeth Remmers, dorn June 18, 1826, in Dreisbach, Hessen, Germany, sailed with her uncle Herpel (assume it is a last name) in the year 1848 to America. That she had a brother named John and sister named Mary. They, Mary & John, immigrated to the U.S. before Martha Elizabeth. It also says that she (Martha) married Henry B. Remmers in Carondelet in lower St. Louis. The wedding festival took place at Theiss' country home near Afton, St. Louis County.
I also found a St. Louis Missouri Marriage record that shows a Mary Jerbert and Henry Theiss married on 19 Jul 1846 in St. Louis Missouri. From there I found Henry and Mary living in Carondelet Township.

My question is do you think that Mary and Martha Elizabeth are sisters?

Pat Corcoran
