Johann Adam Theiss is my husbands g-g-g-grandfather. I have a 3 page family tree a woman emailed me a couple years ago. I was also told by this woman that a school in the Concord area (Where they lived and farmed) has a book for sale about the families in that area in that era. Theiss was included, and there are pictures of them too. Anyway.....maybe we can colaberate our information together. I know I have a little different dates than what I've seen other post. I have Johann born abt 1782, and imigrated 1838. I'm just tieding up the info that I have to be more correct & complete.
My husbands descendants are:

Johann Adam b abt 1782 or 83
Otto Theiss b Aug 4 1827 d Mar 28 1891
Fredrich Theiss b Feb 24 1864 d Oct 26 1947
Clarence Theiss b Nov 5 1894 d Jan 6 1964
Gene Theiss b Feb 20 1935 d May 7 1997
Carl (my husband) b August 3 1970

I have other sibling info of Otto, Fredrich, and Clarence. Gene & my husband were both only children. I just know I'm missing some info. Please feel free to email me.

Thank you,
Trish T
