Hi, I have been told by a distant cousin(now deceased) that we had relatives in Mo. One being a Judge in Hannibal Missouri. She could not remember his first name. She stated that a niece was having great luck with finding info in Missouri of our Theiss line. They were a branch of my family, I found my gggrandfather on the 1900 census for Colorado. He was John Henry Theiss, b. 1844 in Hesse Dormstadt Germany. His wife was Kathryne Haas. Snd wife Theresa. There were 8 children living with them on the census. All born in Germany. The spelling of the Theiss name was sometimes changed to Theys. IF you think we might be connected please contact me. Thanks, Carol Helms
