Maurice. Are you with Ancestry, if so find my pager at alansjungle, there you will find what I have found RE. William Thew. here is a brief outline. Three children Phillip b/1869, William Richard b/1871 d 1916 in France ww1 and Jane J B/1873. William is in the following Census.
1841 Durham St Oswalds, 1861 Durham St Giles, 1891 Wallsend and 1901 Hepburn. There is more comimg in about William Richard so I will see what I can do.
