Dear Claudette,

I am a descendent of the Thibodeau's as well. I think I may have the information you are looking for. Joseph Tranquille Thibodeau b. about 1752 was the son of Antoine Thibodeau and Marie Josephe Landry. Joseph was married to Isabelle LeBlanc who was the daughter of Joseph LeBlanc and Marguerite Landry. This information is in the Thibodeau book that was compiled for the Thibodeau reunion which took place in Madawaska, Maine in 1984. I am not sure if they come for Acadia, but would assume so, since Joseph is a descendent of Pierre Thibodeau. Joseph had siblings as well: Jean Baptiste b. about 1745 m. Anne Cormier 7/10/1792, Joseph David Thibodeau b. 1749, Pierre Thibodeau b. 1775, Louis Thibodeau b. 1760 d. 1824 m. Marguerite Brault-Pominville on 8/14/1794. I hope this helps.
