Hello,
I am not sure: I met a C. Thieme in a 20th century Surinamese newspaper. He wrote a feuilleton, a novelette, translated by a Surinamer and transforming it into a theatre piece. The translatorīs name was Joh. Marcus. The piece caused quite some excitement in 1912 and 1923.
Have you any news on the possibility that we are dealing with the same Christian Thieme?
