Jim,

Yes, this is the correct George Neave. I had a feeling they never married as I couldn't find a record anywhere. By the early part of the 1870s is when names that are in my family begin to show up. I think I did find a death around this time for a George Neave as well, though I can't find the record now. In the 1891 census there was a 50 year old boarder Craig Morris. There was a Craigie Bisset Morris in my family but the age difference was too great to be the same person. So I haven't found much else out about Mary Ann or her family other than what was previously posted. I did find David Neave's father and mother, they were James Neave and Isabel Crichton m. Aug 12, 1780. One of David and Isabel's daughters were named Matilda Malcolm. David had a sister Matilda who married Alexander Malcolm Oct 16, 1805. If you'd like to know the name of the other Neave children, let me know.

Regards,
Ellen
