I my g-g-grandmother was Hanna Maria Elizabeth Thoms, who married Johann Steinmueller (aka Ludwig). They emigrated to Milwaukee. Hanna was born in Kowalz 16 July 1812. Her father was Johann Jacob Thoms, b10 April 1782 in Rensow, Mecklenburg & d14 Jan 1861 in Kowalz. Her mother was Maria Sara Stollen b4 Aug 1776 in Daschow Mecklenburg & d21 Oct 1840 in Kowalz.
Any connections to anyone out there? I don't have much more on the Thoms than this.
