You are right, I am a cousin to the current Chief. His paternal grandfather, Alfred, was the elder brother of my paternal grandfather, Henry. At some point I was a member of the UK Clan and received the Clan magazine from time to time; alas, communication over the years dissipated and finally vanished, much like "Uncle" George's Aberlemno estate and family fortune. I did however, inherit George's gold pocket watch, which I may donate to a MacThomas Archive if established (hopefully, not in the Orkney's.)
