I am the GGG Grandaughter of John and Jane, through their son Alexander and his son William Wallce.
I just recently started searching this family. I found some information but not as much as I would like.
I want more information on John and Jane.
I know they came to America some time between 1840 amd 1845.
Alexander was born in Scotland abt 1840. His sister Nannie was born in Virginia in 1845.

I have seen other postings of yours that says that Mary Snow was a Thoms, the daughter of John and Jane. I have not come across a child named Mary I recall in the census of 1870, there was a Mary Snow in the household of John and James listed as age 24. She is listed later in 1880 and 1900 as the wife of William Snow who loved next door to some of the Thoms families.

Look forward to hearing from you.
