I am sponsoring a THURMAN/THURMOND/THORMAN/THOROMAN etc. DNA Project. I am assuming it will take most of 2003 to get a really good database established to help sort through the different lines and inter-mingling of the spelling. I sincerely hope that we can get current THURMOND's (as well as Thorman's and Thoroman's etc.) to participate. There are three significant databases that are totally segregated that make up the TOTALFAM database found accessible from my homepage at DNA testing will show whether or not they are derived from a common ancestor. Go to my homepage to be able to access the Family Tree DNA site, who I have affiliated with to provide the kits and do the testing (which is through the Univ. of Arizona). All costs are theirs, I make NOTHING!

THANKS and I hope all our THURMAN/THURMOND/THORMAN/THOROMAN etc. cousins have a GREAT and Glorious holiday season.
Loren Thurman
