This man was old enough before his death to have married and had children.He is the son of David and Ann Hurlbut
Thorp.I have their residence and census records and the names of the children, siblings of Wm.David and Anna married 1832 Huron Ohio.

There maybe other children that didn't survive but these children all lived to adulthood.Four of the boys died in the Civil WAr but were old enough to have families.I am looking for those families. There may be one more of these men who died in the Civil War.If this is your line I have more.Ann is Canadian but is from the Hurlbut line stateside rather famous military family, David is from NJ/NY and the line looks like it regresses to colonial VA.
