Only what I posted to begin with:
""Every time I work on my Moss/Morse genealogy, I come across scraps of paper from ??(a long time ago) with bits and pieces of information I have not been able to use. Perhaps someone can tell me about this "couple" (Goshen, Litchfield Co., CT); information found in (????- I have no idea after all these years):
Moss, David, illegitimate child of Mary Moss born June 6, 1785; father David Thrall, 2nd of Torrington.
How many other couples like this is there likely to be?I know nothing about any Thralls as they are not in my ancestory nor as yet have show up in any Moss/Morse genealogy I have seen or used over the years.... The chances of there being two couples of these names linked together are ???? It is recorded in something Vol 1 p 244, twice in regard to Litchfield County, CT, Goshen - this was all so long ago that I do not recall what I was doing or reading at the time... my Moss/Morse researchwas many many years ago...nowadays it is concentrated on trying to get the ancestroy of our immigrant John Mosse. All I have are these hand written notes I made. Back in those early days of my research I guess I thought I was going to remember everyone and everything.... (now I cannot remember what I did yesterday.)
