Edward Threewitts>SC>NC>NC
From another researcher I received: "Edward Threewitts, born 1762 probably S. C. and Elizabeth born Sept. 2, 1762 probably S.C.Edward was wounded in the shoulder while serving under Capt. Murphy in the Revolutionary War.From the S. C. Dept. of Archives & History Alphabetical Index page 30315 received the following:
Threewits, Edward, account audited (file no. 7783A) of claims growing out of the American Revolution. date 1776 c."
There was an Edward Threwitts in Greene Co NC (TN) in late 1700s.
Family was associated with the BOREN and PRICE families of Washington County NC/ then TN.According to bible records from this researcher, "children are:
Edward & Elizabeth had 8 children (from bible): Mary 3wits born Feb. 2, 1788; twins Peggy and Nancy 3wits born July 7, 1790; Frankey 3wits born Jan. 23, 1793; William 3wits (my line) born Sept. 17, 1796; Elizabeth 3wits born May 24, 1798; John L. E. 3wits born Dec. 1, 1800 and Lewis 3wits born Mar.17, 1803. Children listed in Bible just like I typed them."
Daughter Frances "Frankie" Threewitts, b January 1793, married James Price in 1811 in Wash. County, TN.
Anyone have a connection for Edward to SC with any of the other Threewitts listed there?
