I have no direct relationsip to any of the Throgmortons except Margaret Morton's and Lewis Throgmorton's son William Pinckney; however, my family research runs into them every way I turn.
I recommend that you try to get a copy of William P.'s autobiography, which may be available in some university library or from some Baptist organization; I have only a couple of pages that someone copied from it, but, in it, he discusses his Throgmorton family and Morton family.
I suspect that William Throgmorton in Roseanna's family in 1850 is her son and Lewis's older brother. Lewis gave his birthplace as NC about 1824; so the family left after that. I suspect that you are correct that the children in Roseanna's family belong to William, and they may be the same children that were in the Cunningham family. If they are the same, this would appear to make it likely that Mary Edith Cunningham was William's sister.
Although I doubt it, I suppose there is some slight possibility that one or the other set of children could belong to Margaret (Morton) Throgmorton, who was previously married to Julius Throgmorton, apparently the youngest son of Richard, born in the early 1760s.
Roberson or Robertson Throgmorton appears somewhat separate from the other Throgmortons of Henry County; however, I suspect that he belongs to the same greater family. His family lived as neighbors of George Morton, the father of Margaret, who married two Throgmortons and Wesley Gallimore, and Harriett, who married Tillman Gallimore.
In addition to the Henry County Throgmortons, I would like to get more information on Edward B. Throgmorton who came with his parents from the Montgomery-Stanley Counties area of NC to the Bedford/Wayne Counties area of TN around 1820. The father of Edward (b. about 1812) appears to have been Robert (b. about 1780-1785.
