I found more information and thought I would try again. i so badly want to know more and there has got to be someone that knows something,
My great grandfather's name was John Henry Marsharm (could be mis-spelled) born in Norfolk, England around Dec, 28th 1873. He married Alice Emily (REX) Thwaites whom was also born in England. I think she was born Bethnal Green to George J Rex and his wife was Esther Howard. i am not sure of the year my grandfather and grandmother were married but I do know they had a few children. I know forsure that Robert Joseph Thwaites was one son and he was born in Norwich England in 1914. I believe they had a son Fred, Charles I think John as well. not sure will have to get back to you on that one.
I do know that he had some relatives over here with him as well. i only remember the nam Ida Thwaites but her marriage name I don't remember.
My great graddad was also in the Military here in Canada and also in Northumberland and I think that may have been in England but again I am not sure.
Please feel free to contact me with any information u may have, I even have a role number from way back in England. thanks so much for taking the time to read this and possibly helping. As I have said before I was told that a S was added to our name but I don't know this forsure.
