Actually, I further looked into it and as it turns out Andrew was married total 3x and and the chidren are 12 from 1 marriage, 3 from 1 marriage (1 child not birth but taken in to care for), and 2 children with the other marriage. You weren't wrong as far as the names, but there were a few you left out I have it all straightened out now. Don't lose faith or hope...there still may be a connection. With this surname, the spelling was continuously being changed (just depended how they felt like spelling it that day). My family has been planning and coordinating the Tibetts Family Reunion coming up October 3, 2009. The last 3 oldest LIVING Tibbets in my line will be there and they are ready to "Tell All" of their lifes journeys and of those that have already passed on. Their health is starting to take that final turn in life and this is most likely the last family get together they will be attending. So this is a MUST ATTEND event for all Tibbets family seekers. The attendence list is growing quick and already more then 60 will be attending. Coming from all over the US. With so many in one place and from many Tibbets Lines, everyone is sure to find a connection to their line of the family. I invite you and your family (directly related or not) to join us for our Tibbets Family Reunion. All are welcome. My 2nd Great Grandfather Martin Van Buren Tibbets (b. 25 Nov 1838 Missouri d. 7 Mar 1918 Arkansas) is our spotlight of the reunion...he was married to Elizabeth Basket. Look for my post here shortly and I will have the other decendents listed also. If you have any questions or you need any information I happy to offer.
